Muninn Films is an independent film group in the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois area. We work with local talent and volunteers, building and developing technical and creative skills, and promoting the establishment of film-making culture in central Illinois. We aim to create opportunities for people of all ages to participate and explore film production, acting, and related skills.

Being an independent group in this area means that we have no formal studio supporting our production needs. This encourages us maximize the usage of our resources. Sets and locations are usually discovered and dressed rather than built. We have found that keeping the focus on creativity is fun, keeps our budgets low, and lends itself to a sense of ownership about every aspect of our work.
